How your app uses the permission

The app allows users to receive messages sent to their synchronized WhatsApp numbers in our software and reply to them directly within our software. 

Plaform settings
----------------------------------------
Login at SUPPORT-BOARD-URL

User: EMAIL
Password: PASSWORD

Go to "Settings > WhatsApp" and click "Synchronize now".

After the synchronization has been completed, send a message to the WhatsApp number you sync and your should receive it in Support Board at SUPPORT-BOARD-URL?area=conversations. You can reply from Support Board and the message will be sent to WhatsApp.

The app allows users to receive messages sent to Facebook Pages and linked Instagram Channels in our software and reply to them directly within our software.



pages_show_list + pages_messaging

To show a person the list of Pages they manage AND VERIFY THAT A PERSON MANAGES A PAGE in order for users to receive messages sent to Facebook Pages in our software and reply to them directly within our software.

From the left click the "Gear" icon and go to "Settings > Messenger" and click "Synchronize now". You can also visit SUPPORT-BOARD-URL?setting=messenger.

FACEBOOK LOGIN:

After the synchronization has been completed, send a message to the Facebook Pages you synced and you should receive it in our software at SUPPORT-BOARD-URL?area=conversations. You can reply from our software and the message will be sent to Facebook Messenger.

pages_read_engagement

This scope is required by Facebook to sync Facebook BUSINESS pages. Without this scope the Facebook synchronization will not include BUSINESS pages.



instagram_manage_messages

The app allows users to receive Instagram DM in our software and reply to them directly within our software.

You can reply from our software and the message will be sent to Instagram.

How the app manage the deletion of messages from the user?
When deleted (unsent) on Instagram, the messages are deleted automatically on our software also.
